Be part of our next full evening of sessions on Saturday, March 9th where we spotlight special guests in entertainment.

Proceeds from the day are to benefit Inner City Arts, which offers a safe, creative space in Los Angeles where more than 200,000 children have been invited to create and explore. Inner-City Arts provides quality arts instruction for students from underserved communities, integrated arts workshops for educators, and programming designed for the community. 

Special guests include:

-Nicole Restrepo, production supervisor, Disney Animation Television

-Luna Wise, talent manager, Brave Artists Management

-Maddie Bray, senior director of marketing, Sony Music

-Halsey Smythe, TV creative development coordinator

 

SPEAKER BIOS:

Halsey Smythe: Halsey Smythe (29) is an Asian-American TV Creative Development Coordinator from Honolulu, Hawaii. Originally moving to LA in 2013 to attend Loyola Marymount University, Halsey received her Bachelor’s in Screenwriting as an early graduate in 2016. After college, she acted as executive assistant for a number of creative producers and writers, eventually landing a desk at ICM in the Motion Picture Production Dept. Since then, she has spent the last three years as the Development Coordinator at Blumhouse (known primarily for their horror films such as Get Out, Paranormal Activity, and M3gan), learning the ropes of becoming a junior executive.

Nicole Restrepo: Nicole A Restrepo is a storyteller who is driven by creating compelling and relatable content for real people. With 4+ years of professional experience in Production at Disney Television Animation. During her time at DTVA she has pitched 4 original series. With her production knowledge and creativity, she develops series thinking of all angles.
